Join us Friday April 1st from 3:00 - 7:00 pm for a peak into Spring of 2011! Be the first to see our beautiful remodel.
*Get a guided tour from one of our plant specialists and learn about all the new and exciting things in plants for 2011. We'll even share our personal favorites!
*Learn to paint flowers with Artist Extraordinaire, Pete Cortese. Pete, a Hobart native, will demonstrate how to paint flowers from beautiful images that he took himself!
*Bring your old junk...something unique....an old shoe or boot...a birdcage or basket 8" or smaller and plant it with pansies....$5 donation to Hobart Food Pantry. One per customer.
*Barb from Marilyn's Bakery will be giving cooking demonstrations and samples on homemade pasta with fresh pesto, stuffed mushrooms and rosemary potatoes skewered with Johnson's new BBQ rosemary plants.
*There will be wine, appetizers and music.
*20% off the entire store! Don't forget to bring a friend!

The greenhouses are full. We will now be spending our time tending the plants. Pruning, feeding , watering and praying for sunshine to help them along. When we are not tending plants we are getting the market read for opening. Inventory continues to arrive and the displays are coming together nicely.
We will be having a grand opening on April 2nd to unveil our new remodel. Come and view the new plants, take a tour, take advantage of special discounts, sample food and wine and more! The place looks grand and we can't wait for you to see it!
The first image is of our big beautiful porch pot combo's. It's hard to believe that in a few weeks the will be blooming profusely and jumping out of the pot! The second image is a sea of geraniums. They are one of our all time favorite plants and we can proudly say that no one can grow them like we can! Look for new varieties this season.
